Zero Retention Available
Yes
Retention Default
"Zero retention — your data is never stored or retained." The DPA adds deletion of all copies by Berget and its sub-processors after termination, unless retention is legally required.
Retention Exceptions
"Inference runs entirely within our secure network—your data never traverses the internet." The DPA states Berget personnel will never take actions to access customer data unless specifically requested and agreed in advance by the customer.
Subprocessors
6G AI Sweden AB (SE, org 559130-5098) — GPU bare-metal infrastructure, Acebit AB (SE, org 559265-3538) — network/server design and operations, Toriv AB (SE, org 559052-0937) — network/server design and operations, Obenet AB (SE, org 556898-6763) — colocation, Stripe Payments Europe Limited (IE) — card payments

Eu Procurement Reason
A two-year-old company with better sub-processor disclosure than most of the incumbents in this registry: every entry in DPA Appendix 1 carries a company name, a Swedish organisation number and the service it provides, the only non-Swedish entry is Stripe's Irish entity for card payments, and the DPA states plainly that all data centres are within the EEA and that Berget will not move data from the customer's selected one without instruction. Zero retention is asserted directly rather than offered as an enterprise upgrade, and the models are open weights over an OpenAI-compatible API. What it does not have is any certification at all — no ISO 27001, no SOC 2 — which is normal at this size and still costs it seven of the ten assurance points. This is the clearest case in the registry of the rubric rewarding a company that writes things down over one that has been audited.
