Zero Data Retention by default — Fireworks does not log or store prompt or generation data for any open model without explicit user opt-in; data exists only in volatile memory for the duration of the request.
Retention Exceptions
The Response API is the exception: conversation data is stored for 30 days unless store=False is set, with immediate deletion available via the DELETE endpoint. Safety screening tools may be applied to Content regardless.

Zero Data Retention is the default rather than a tier, the terms state Content will not be used to train Fireworks' own models, a full 15-entry subprocessor list with processing locations is published in Schedule 4 of the public DPA, and EU_FRANKFURT_1 is a documented single-region option. The default is the catch: deployments are multi-region GLOBAL unless you ask otherwise, so EU residency is a configuration you have to request.
